Welcome to ‘Asian Sufficient,’ Season 2

by -20 views

From the Los Angeles Instances, “Asian Sufficient” is a podcast about being Asian American — the thrill, the issues and every thing in between. In every episode hosts Jen Yamato, Johana Bhuiyan, Tracy Brown and Suhauna Hussain of The Instances invite particular friends to share private tales and unpack id on their very own phrases. They discover the huge diaspora throughout cultures, backgrounds and generations, and attempt to broaden the methods through which being Asian American is outlined.

Within the first season we spoke to Vice President Kamala Harris, actor John Cho and director Lulu Wang, amongst others. In our second season we’ll convey you intimate, hard-hitting conversations with actors Sandra Oh and Lucy Liu, novelist Min Jin Lee, rapper Ruby Ibarra, sociologist Anthony Ocampo, drag performer Jujubee, and others. Season 2 premieres Could 11, with new episodes dropping each Tuesday by August. Subscribe without cost on Apple, Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts.
