Henry Golding goes full motion star for ‘Snake Eyes’ trailer

Henry Golding has formally made the transition from rom-com heartthrob to motion hero with the brand new trailer for “Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins.”

Throughout Sunday’s MTV Film & TV Awards broadcast, Paramount Photos launched the extreme trailer for the newest installment within the hit “G.I. Joe” franchise: the origin story of Snake Eyes (Golding), a talented martial artist recruited by a squad of Japanese ninjas referred to as the Arashikage.

“The journey from right here is yours to resolve,” says Peter Mensah’s Blind Grasp, the chief of the Arashikage, to Golding’s Snake Eyes within the preview. “However that’s just the start.”

The dynamic teaser marks “Loopy Wealthy Asians” breakout Golding’s “G.I. Joe” debut as Snake Eyes, who was portrayed by Ray Park within the earlier three motion pictures primarily based on the favored superhero comics.

“It’s time,” Golding wrote on Instagram upon the trailer’s launch. “Been dying to share this with you all.”

After introducing Golding within the titular function, the minute-long preview launches into an epic montage of high-speed automobile chases, daring sword fights and fiery explosions to the tune of ASAP Ferg’s “New Degree.”

“Each warrior has a starting,” the tagline for the movie reads.

Along with Golding and Mensah, “Snake Eyes” stars Andrew Koji as Storm Shadow, Úrsula Corberó because the Baroness, Samara Weaving as Scarlett, Haruka Abe as Akiko, Tahehiro Hira as Kenta and Iko Uwais as Laborious Grasp.

Directed by Robert Schwentke and written by Evan Spiliotopoulos, “Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins” hits theaters July 23. Watch the total trailer right here.
